Here’s the scoop about next month’s meeting. It’s going to be wonderful! The new CLOTHES MENTOR, located in North Richland Hills, will be our guest speaker. The owner and her manager will give us ideas on spring fashions and best ways to stretch our dollar.

In February, we had a wine tasting presented by Pop’s Safari Cigar and Fine Wines.
Hosted by Pam Smith, there were h’orderves and we had a white elephant gift exchange.

In January, we had lunch at Zee’s Cafe and toured the Cowgirl Museum.

In December, Becky Haskin hosted a Mexican Fiesta!
We played games, had an ornament exchange, and a Texas Wesleyan University student provided holiday tunes. Our December charities received donations.

In October, we were serenaded.
The WWC met on Wednesday, October 12th for lunch at the home of Frankie McMurrey Rosenkratz. Members of the Texas Wesleyan University music department entertained the ladies before they all enjoyed a light lunch together.

In May 2011, we learned about the life of Erma Bombeck.
On Wednesday, May 11th, 2011, The Woodhaven Women’s Club thanked their outgoing officers and board members and welcomed in new officers. This group is a labor of love for everyone involved, and all of the members truly appreciate those who take on leadership roles.
For the program, we heard Gay Fuller as Erma Bobmeck, and finished up the meeting with a book exchange.
Great speaker…good food…good friends…a good time was had by all!
In April, we walked the runway
A spring fashion show, hosed by Nancy Lichtenwalter
and presented by Linda Unterberger of Chez Chic Boutique,
featured our members as models!

The WOODHAVEN WOMEN’S CLUB was organized in 1982 with the purpose promoting friendship and loyalty to neighbors and to promote Woodhaven as a beautiful, safe and desirable place to live.
