| Gateway Park Master Plan Ground Breaking |

| Civic leaders will celebrate the start of construction of the Gateway Park master plan with an event that includes wakeboarding on the Trinity River, hot-air balloon rides and a performance by the Fort Worth band Space Monkey. A free public celebration is scheduled for 1 to 5 p.m. Professional wakeboarders will perform on the Trinity River, and there will be a "Will Skate for Food" contest with a $1,000 prize as well as a food drive benefiting the Tarrant Area Food Bank. |
