Woodhaven Neighborhood Association
Welcome

Who will step up in 09 to work for Woodhaven?

2008 was a good year for the neighbor association. We came out with a terrific directory paid for by ads (thanks primarily to the efforts of Kay Shaw) and we nearly doubled the membership. Best of all we're going out of 08 and into 09 in the black. But we do have some challenges ahead, the most pressing of which is to find new people to serve on the various committees.

We're losing our Secretary Leianne Burge who did a great job this year and our long-time and terrific Treasurer Bill Jackson is also moving on. There may be others, which is why it is imperative that we recruit some new people to help us out.

A neighborhood association, like any group, will wither and die if new people don't get involved. If you'd like to do your part for your community I promise you will find the experience to be very rewarding and surprisingly a lot of fun.

Please call 817-496-4877 or email president@woodhavenfortworth.org and we can discuss the various job openings and the other ways you can help.

Greg Ricks
President
